We do not collect your phone number, payment card details, or other financial information. All data collection is limited to what is needed to provide the app's features described above.
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only used to provide the app's functionality. When you search for masjids, your search query and approximate location are transmitted to Google Places to retrieve results; this data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Location data is used solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. You can disable location access in your device settings, though this will affect prayer time accuracy.
Push notifications are used for prayer time reminders and Jamaat updates. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from the app (Settings > Delete Account). Waqt as-Salah does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app.
